Immediately after the devastating magnitude 7.0 earthquake in Haiti on Jan. 12, Urban jumped into action by planning a variety of fundraisers. Simone Hudson and Hannah Gorman organized a bake sale, the proceeds of which went to Doctors Without Borders. Community Outreach organized a which benefited Partners in Health. Also, the donations raised by the Valentine’s Day candygrams were given to Partners in Health as well. Urban raised a total of $920 from the three fundraisers. Great job, Urban!
